In the past, I received some inqueries concerning "absence." I assembled here the basic information to answer most frequently asked questions: 

1. Students have the obligation to attend the lecture;
2. Students have the right to miss 2 lessons for the 45-hour course, 3 lessons for the 60-hour course, without excuse;
3. If you are ill or have to go away because of study-related business, with the presentation of the proof, your absence will be excused;
4. Other reasons do not constitute the reason for your absence;
5. Even with excuse, the number of your absence must not exceed 10.

When you are absent because of your work or some urgent personal matter, I said I will consider the circumstance of your absence, BUT it will be still counted as “absence.” Please remember the item (1) above.
